On October 8, 1966 the Marin County's Mt Tamalpais Amphitheatre host an afternoon show featuring the Grateful Dead, Quicksilver Messenger Service and Bola Sete, who replaced Joan Baez and her sister Mimi Farina on the bill. The concert poster here was created by two Masters of Psychedelic Rock Art, Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley. The show was held to promote the congressional campaign of antiwar candidate Phil Drath, Pooh and his pal, Pooh is carrying a kilo in his arm and Piglet blowing a bit of smoke as they walk off into the sunset…
