It was 45 years ago, on May 20, back in 1975 on this day that Frank Zappa and The Mothers began two nights of shows and entertainment that kept the audience wide eyed and eared at the Armadillo World Headquarters in Austin, Texas (look the blues poster section for Freddie King and Mance Lipscomb concert, same venue, five years earlier) …. The artwork for this poster is by Guy Juke. This concert was one of many live albums recorded by Zappa during his tours. This is where the album "Bongo Fury" was recorded.
