Closing of Winterland Grateful Dead Poster with the Blues Brothers Dec. 31st 1978. This is one of the most revered concerts the Grateful Dead ever played. Winterland was the home to so many great concerts by the greatest bands to ever hit the stage. The Grateful Dead were honored to be the last band to ever grace the stage there. It was billed as Breakfast Served At Dawn. The New Riders Of The Purple Sage also played that night. The art was done by Mouse/Kelley the Blue Rose is long a symbol of greatness!
