Led Zeppelin - Oakland Stadium, Oakland, CA, 1977
A Bill Graham Concert Poster Proof Signed by both artists, Randy Tuten and his design partner William Bostedt. This was the first-printing San Francisco Bay-Area concert poster for Led Zeppelin's last-ever American concerts with drummer John Bonham... July 23 & 24, 1977 at Oakland Stadium. This specimen has been tastefully signed in metallic silver by the original poster artists, Tuten and Bostedt. The magnitude of the event is skillfully matched by the sublime rendition of what surely must be the biggest dirigible to ever appear on a Zeppelin concert poster; it's simply monolithic. The poster has taken on iconic status over the years, easily one of the most popular Led Zeppelin’ posters. William "Bill" / "Daddy Bread" Bostedt was an airbrush specialist, and created this poster's main image. Randy Tuten did all the lettering. They were graphic-arts partners in the 70's, with Randy in charge. The pair also created the famous Pink Floyd 1977 "flying pig" Oakland poster.
