Pink Floyd - Oakland Coliseum, 1977
Concert Poster Signed by Randy Tuten. An original first-printing concert poster for Pink Floyd appearing at the Oakland Coliseum on Monday & Tuesday nights, May 9 & 10, 1977. This poster's image, created by Randy Tuten and William Bostedt, has gained iconic status over the years.
This was also known as Floyd's "In the Flesh" tour. Flying pigs have since become an indelible image for the band, and this poster depicts one beautifully, floating above the clouds & fog of San Francisco Bay. 1977 found Pink Floyd on tour supporting their new album Animals, released on 21 January 1977, which also depicted a flying pig in a sky of clouds (above the “Battersea Power Station” of London). That LP went on to sell 12 million units worldwide.
