This poster was created by the artist Steve Nelson. this is one of the few Velvets posters to feature photographs of the band, in this case, beautiful ones. Opening for the Velvets were Fat and Barry T and the Studebakers, and an unbilled Jonathan Richman, playing probably his first-ever indoor show and using Velvets guitarist Sterling Morrison’s Gibson 335 and Vox Super Beatles guitars.
